We also enjoy working on custom typefaces or customizing our existing ones to your special needs. Here you can find an overview of some of them, done for museums and other cultural institutions. We will soon provide you with more in-depth case studies.

A custom typeface for the rebranding of the University of Music and Performing Arts Frankfurt (HfMDK). The typeface also serves as a logo for the school. Rooted in a low-contrast grotesque, the design merges a geometric foundation with precise technical details. The display cut includes a distinctive stylistic set that randomly removes parts of certain letters, creating a rhythmic and dynamic visual effect.
Commissioned by Berlin-based studio S-T-A-T-E.

A family of typefaces for reboot:responsiveness. a collaborative, multi-cycle initiative initiated by Kölnischer Kunstverein, Cologne, and Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst, Aachen. Building upon the foundation of system fonts like Times, Arial, and Courier the design concept involves creating a custom set of typefaces that blends hand-drawn and computer-generated elements. This approach combines the human touch of manual writing with the process of computer generation, resulting in a unique and distinctive look.
Type face concept in collaboration with Sean Yendrys, who also did the design.

A typeface for the Zurich-based industrial design and scenography studio Atelier Lomann. The modular feel and construction of the letters is influenced by the products developed inside the studio. Alongside the typeface we developed a wide range of symbols that allow an iconographic classification of their projects.
Developed as part of its rebranding in collaboration with Jahn Koutrios.
