To make our catalogue more accessible to students, we now offer all our typefaces for free to enrolled students! You can contact us for the G2 students license if you are currently enrolled at an educational institution and intend to use any of our typefaces in a strictly academic and non-commercial context.

If you are a (type-)designer yourself and are working on a typeface, that you think could fit our catalogue don’t hesitate to contact us! Please include a few sample words and an alphabet and an explanation of your concept. We also would love to be involved from an early point in the process and not just distribute a finished typeface.
In recent years, members of Gruppo Due have been invited to teach, give workshops and hold positions at various international institutions such as University of Art and Design Offenbach, Bauhaus University Weimar, Bern Academy of the Arts, and more. Please contact for workshop samples and invite us to teach!

Buying and Owning a License
We have adopted a model where the license owner is the entity that profits off and uses the font. In almost all cases this is the client and not the designer or agency. Only if you design something for yourself you are also the license owner. The designer is covered under a subcontractor license.
Types of Licenses
We offer two types of licenses. Standard licenses are easily available in our webshop and include: Print, Web, Social Media, App and Logo licenses.
Special licenses are available per request via email and include any other uses (for example educational, game or broadcasting licenses) and unlimited licenses.
Unlimited licenses are a catch-all custom made license that allows the licensee to use the typeface in every way they want and for any size of project.
Pricing and License Sizes
The size of the license is determined by a single metric: The size of the company. Linking it to the number of workstations or website users did not feel fitting anymore today. No matter the type of license the only importance is the size of the licensees company size, in most cases the client. The size of the designing studio doesn’t matter.
Upgrades
If the size of the license company changes you need to update your license to the fitting license tier. This can be done via email too.
Discount and Student
Students who want to use our typefaces for purely academic and non-commercial license which is entirely free. If you want to use the typeface for a commercial project or after you graduate your client needs to buy a fitting license.
If you want to use the typeface for non-profit, cultural or activist work or do not have enough funds for the license size please let us know and we can figure out a discount!
Modifications and Reselling
If you feel like a modification of a typeface is necessary, just get in contact with you and we will help you out!
We put huge care into our typefaces and finish them to high standards. If you use our typefaces you can not change or modify the type files themselves. Anything inside layout programs or after converting the typeface to vectors is fair game.
You are also not allowed to resell our typefaces.
Custom Typefaces
We also love to work on entirely new custom typefaces and have done so for, among others, the Austrian Pavilion at the Gwangju Biennale, the University for Music in Frankfurt, the Kunstverein Cologne and Ludwig Forum Aachen, ConstructLab and Atelier Lohmann. Just email us!
Political Use
Any kind of use of our typeface for political content needs explicit written confirmation from our side.
